Elizabeth is a cultural and educational producer, researcher and environmental advocate based in Milan, Italy. Her work is concerned with implementation of conscious creation, exploring new regenerative strategies for positive change and a more responsible future. She works on projects fostering ecological and ocean literacy such as educational programming at the Eco-Green School in Kenya and curating the program of the urban initiative “Ocean Cinema & Talks” for One Ocean Foundation. One of her latest creative projects is the immersive experience “Neptune’s Abyss”, highlighting sea reforestation alongside the poetic film and meditative cello performance by artist Yu Lin Humm, held at Triennale di Milano. In her multidisciplinary practice Elizabeth investigates in depth cultural and natural preservation, empowering communities, experiential learning and eco-psychology. Currently Elizabeth is a co-host at “As Above, So Below” podcast series, launched at COP29, and an executive producer of the documentary film “The Seaweed Revolution”.

FARAH PIRIYE

Farah is an independent curator, cultural producer and researcher based in London, the United Kingdom. Her work focuses on transnational dialogues, centred on addressing both environmental and social narratives. She explores how history, migration, memory, identity, and other social forces intersect with environmental challenges, shaping our modern realities. Through her theoretical research and socially engaged art projects, Farah challenges conventional definitions and forms, aiming to foster a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness between humanity and the environment. Amongst her latest recognitions is winning the Arte Laguna Prize 2024, Venice with the exhibition “Whispering Forest” with artist Elnara Nasirli, initially curated and produced for MoMA Tbilisi. Currently Farah is a co-host at the “As Above, So Below” podcast series, launched at COP29, and a co-producer of the short documentary film “Requiem for the Caspian”.
